WRA Inc. was established in 1983 in North Carolina. The company expanded to include Caribbean Wings Air Charters in 1994 offering charter flights and narrated sightseeing tours of the British Virgin Islands. Based in the U.S. Caribbean, Caribbean Wings has since expanded further to include charter airline service to the US Virgin Islands, San Juan Puerto Rico, St. Maarten, Antigua and other Caribbean destinations.

Caribbean Wings President, Captain Warren Wheeler, is a former US Air, Boeing 737, 757 & 767 pilot with more than 30 years of commercial airline and private air charters to his credit. Captain Wheeler began his flying career in 1966 with Piedmont Airlines (US Air) and remained with the airlines until 1994 while also operating his North Carolina air charter service. He was hired by Piedmont Airlines (US AIR) in 1966 and remained with the airline until 1994 while also operating his WRA commuter airline.

Warren's passion for the British Virgin Islands, sailing and flying, prompted him to open a branch of his North Carolina Air Charter Service in the Caribbean. Caribbean Wings offers dependable air charters together with competitive air fares.

Experienced pilots and reliable, Twin engine aircraft are available for pre-scheduled air charters for up to 9 passengers. We can seldom take last minute charters so please don't call us after YOU ARE STUCK IN SAN JUAN. Make Caribbean Wings a part of your travel plans from the beginning!

When not flying charter guests throughout the Caribbean and British Virgin Islands or out sailing, Warren likes to jam with a bunch of sailing buddies who for years have had a band known as "The Lounge Lizards". Warren plays a mean keyboard! You may also catch Warren in Virgin Gorda on the St. Mary's Church organ for the 7AM Sunday service.
